We fill tanks anytime the store is open (unless there is
lightening in the area). There is ALWAYS someone available
to fill propane . . and we make it easy! PLUS we
FILL your tank to 20lbs not 15lbs like the
big box stores do. THAT'S RIGHT!
Barbeque Tanks:
1) Grab your empty tank and head to
the
Co-Op!
2) Park
in the angled spots to the
right of the store in front of the filling
station. Put your
tank on
the bench. Be sure your name is on it.
3) Come in thru
the secret door, now
not so secret, and pay $18 for a 20lb fill.
The
cashier will call someone to fill your tank.
3b) Make fun of
Chris because . . . . well, just because you can.

4) Grab your full tank and return
home to cook a tremendous meal!
NEW! We also provide AmeriGas Exchange tanks!
You may recall back in 1999 the OPD Valve became law on all
new tanks and many of you needed to buy a new one.
Well that new tank may now be out of date. By law, we
CANNOT fill a tank older than 12 year. The date is
stamped on the collar of your tank:

If your tank is out of date, you can purchase a new one (for
$51.99 including the gas), or exchange your old tank for a
used AmeriGas Tank for the same price as a normal fill.
PLEASE NOTE: Weber Quick-Coupler
tanks are no longer available. If you wish to exchange
one of these tanks, a regulator swap (Weber Part No.
7503), will be required and is something which we don't
carry ... booo!
Motor homes: Check out the
aerial view of the store. If the tank is located
on the driver side of your coach, you may
want to pull in the back entrance located to the east of the
store. An employee will help get you lined up to the
filling station.
Forklift and Odd Sized Tanks: Leave
your tank by the filling station. If no one is out
there, come to the counter and we'll get someone out there
to fill you by the gallon.
A few insider tips:
- If you're not sure that your tank is empty, tell the
cashier. We'll top it off and charge you by the
gallon, currently $4.50/gallon.
- Please do not bring your tank in the
store.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days for
propane. Come during the week and beat the crowds!
- Write your name on your tank if you haven't already.
